🥉 IZAN LÓPEZ SIGUERO, BRONCE EN LA PRESIDENT CUP DE BULGARIA

Nuestro competidor Izan López Siguero ha logrado una brillante medalla de bronce en la President Cup de Bulgaria, una de las competiciones más importantes del circuito internacional, clasificatoria para el Campeonato de Europa.

Izan compitió en la categoría Cadete -53 kg, demostrando una vez más su enorme talento y carácter sobre el tapiz. En su camino hacia el podio, protagonizó dos grandes combates:

✅ Victoria frente al representante de Chipre
✅ Victoria ante el competidor de Gran Bretaña

En semifinales, se enfrentó al luchador local, representante de Bulgaria, en un combate muy igualado que finalmente no cayó de nuestro lado. Una derrota que le dejó a las puertas de la clasificación para el Europeo, pero que no empaña en absoluto su gran actuación.

👏 En la categoría Junior, también tuvimos una destacada participación:

• NADIA LÓPEZ SIGUERO venció a Ucrania en su primer combate, pero cayó frente a Gran Bretaña en el segundo.

• ALEJANDRO SANZ RUIZ ganó con autoridad a Italia, pero fue eliminado por el competidor búlgaro, quien acabaría proclamándose campeón.

Desde el Club Taekwondo Javi Alcalá, estamos enormemente orgullosos de Izan, que sigue firmando una temporada espectacular, creciendo como deportista y dejando huella en cada campeonato.

🥉 IZAN LÓPEZ SIGUERO TAKES BRONZE AT THE PRESIDENT CUP IN BULGARIA

Our athlete Izan López Siguero has earned an outstanding bronze medal at the President Cup in Bulgaria, one of the top international tournaments and a qualifier for the European Championships.

Izan competed in the Cadet -53 kg category, showcasing once again his incredible talent and determination on the mat. On his way to the podium, he delivered two excellent performances:

✅ Victory over the competitor from Cyprus
✅ Victory over the athlete from Great Britain

In the semifinals, he faced the local favorite from Bulgaria in a tough and closely contested match, which unfortunately ended in defeat. This result left him just short of qualifying for the European Championships, but it doesn’t take away from his remarkable performance.

👏 In the Junior category, we also had an outstanding performance:

NADIA LÓPEZ SIGUERO defeated Ukraine in her first match but lost to Great Britain in the second.
ALEJANDRO SANZ RUIZ convincingly beat Italy but was eliminated by the Bulgarian competitor, who would go on to become the champion. 

At Club Taekwondo Javi Alcalá, we are extremely proud of Izan. He continues to have an amazing season, growing as an athlete and making his mark in every competition.
